Q : What is the largest size pot hole you fix ?

A : We fix all pot holes up to 1 metre square in size, possibly larger depending on the condition of the surounding asphalt.

 

Q : Can you fix a pot hole when the asphalt is wet or does the asphalt need to be dry ?

A : The asphalt can be either wet or dry it doesn't matter the bitumen compound will bond equally as well to wet asphalt as it does to dry asphalt.

 

Q : Do you fix pot holes on roads and foot paths ?

A : Only if the road or foot path is privately owned, we do not fix pot holes on public roads or foot paths. If you need a pot hole fixed on a public road or foot path you will have to contact your local council.

 

Q : My pot hole has a lot of cracking around it will you fix both the pot hole and the cracking ?

A : Yes we fix both, however if there is a lot of cracking around the pot hole the entire area may need to be dug out and filled, this means the repaired area could become larger than 1 metre square, to find out if we can fix it, it is best to send an email to geoff@potholerepairs.co.nz please include a photo and the measurement of the entire area you would liked fixed.

 

Q : How much does it cost ?

A : It can be difficult to judge, it depends on the time it takes to repair and the size of the area. If you would like a rough estimate you will need to email us the measurement of the pot hole, and the area of Auckland you are in.
